Bringing hope where there is despair
The Church's mission has many aspects, which include but are not limited to the following:
Calling people to faith in Jesus Christ and Christian discipleship
Caring for individual people and communities
Sharing in the task of education, and social and spiritual development
Struggling for a just world
Being alongside the poor
Becoming friends with people of different cultures and faiths
Building partnerships with other churches and groups who share some of our mission aims.

Helene Williamson - Climbing Kilimanjaro - raised £2,867.50
I'm climbing to 5,895m (that's the top) of Kilimanjaro in June in aid of amazing homeless charity Whitechapel Mission. Apart from the climb itself, it's going to be nine days without wifi, espresso or hot showers, as we sleep in tents the whole way up and down.
A gift that makes a real difference.
